PROFANITY IS BEAUTIFUL (GODDAMNIT!)

If you've read this far, you obviously aren't offended
by profanity.  As you may have noticed, I express myself
several times with words many people have deemed as "bad."
Well, fuck them!  There's nothing that relieves my
stress more than shouting out a few dirty words whenever the
mood strikes me.  If I'm pissed, I'm gonna let the whole
world know!  Nothing helps a bad mood like spreading it
around.
So what's wrong with profanity?  Why isn't it more
readily excepted?  I don't see what's actually wrong with
it?  Is their something so immoral about using slang terms?
If I stood up and said "Sex," no one would say a word
about it.  If I stood up and said "Fuck,"  people will be
instantly offended.  Why?  They mean the exact same thing.
Feces/shit, heck/hell, penis/dick - something's wrong if you
can't say things the way you want to.  If the slang term for
a car was "weedle,"  no one would be pissed at you for
standing up and announcing that your girlfriend digs your
weedle.  But if weedle is slang for your penis, watch out.
But profanity is completely normal, healthy, and
natural.  I don't care how big of a Bible-thumping born
again whassit you claim to be, at some point you have said
profanity.  I mean, c'mon, it's even in the Bible!
Which brings up another interesting point - "Taking the
Lord's name in vain."  What does that mean?  I was brought
up to believe that it meant you never say God's or Jesus'
name in a time of anger.  But I don't think that's true.  If
I take you in vain, it means I simply don't take you
seriously.  I'm taking you for granted.  I think the same
can be said here.  If I don't put 100% faith in God, I am
taking Him in vain.  But I don't think that saying "Oh my
God!" is going to get me cast straight into the pits of
hell.
I always looked on a religious expletive as a little
prayer..."Jesus Christ...!  Help me get through this..." or
"Goddamnit!  Please...?"
